Brian is a Consultant at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC (FIA). His focus is on ERISA plans, primarily 401(k) plans of corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Brian has over 30 years of experience helping individuals and institutions save and invest. Prior to joining FIA, he was President and Founder of Positive Retirement Outcomes, LLC, an independent retirement plan consulting firm. He has worked exclusively with institutional clients since 1992, beginning with Fleet Investment Management in Buffalo, NY. In 1997 he moved to Boston to join MFS Retirement Services, Inc. as a Regional Vice President and 401(k) wholesaler. He then worked as a Managing Director for John Hancock Funds, helping launch their Defined Contribution Investment Only (“DCIO”) effort before leaving to start his own firm in 2009. Brian holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst© designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College. He is a member of the Retirement Advisor Council, and is an avid volunteer for Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the largest wetlands and waterfowl conservation organization in North America.
