Peter Nadeau, ARPC

Partner & Senior Consultant

Pete is a Partner and Senior Consultant at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC (FIA) and is based in New Jersey.  His focus is on defined contribution retirement plans in both the corporate and tax-exempt spaces. He has extensive knowledge in 401(k) and 403(b) plan consulting. Peter is also a member of FIA’s Employee Communication and Education Committee.

Prior to joining FIA, Pete spent ten years on the record keeper side of the business working with plan trustees on an array of topics including fiduciary liability, plan benchmarking, vendor analysis, participant educational planning, fee analysis, and plan design strategy. In the spring of 2015, Peter received the Certified Behavioral Finance Analyst (CBFA) designation in a course lead by Shlomo Benartzi.  In 2012, while in his role as a Regional Retirement Plan Consultant for The Hartford, Pete obtained the SPARK Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) designation.  In addition to plan consulting at The Hartford, he has spent time in similar roles for both ING (VOYA) and MassMutual. After spending his first three years with FIA working at the home office in Windsor, Pete moved with his family to his wife’s home state of New Jersey.  He serves as a local resource to clients in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
